In our second match of the season it was the Senior team whose match went into overtime! Despite the excitement and the nerves, our girls kept their cool with a 3-pointer from Greta Fernandez Bustos sending the Louisroar into overdrive! Lysanne Hoerl’s cool and calm approach to her free-throws as well as baskets from Maedbh Thornton helped to secure the win in dramatic fashion.
Our U16 team faced a very tall and experienced opposition. Despite this they battled hard and never gave up. Fantastic effort from all our girls with some lovely baskets from Alannah Lynch, Sophie Corcoran, Greta Fernandez Bustos, Maedbh Thornton and Grace Hoey.
