Good evening & apologies for the late message.
There is not enough water pressure from the mains supply to drive water to the tanks in the attic. As a result we do not have water to wash hands or flush toilets.
We cannot operate safely under these unhygienic conditions therefore students are asked stay at home on Wed 23rd Oct 2024 and work on material teachers will post online on Google Classroom and work as expected from 8:50-13:05
I have just returned from the school, we have had a long day investigating the issue but Louth Co Co engineers have just confirmed what we suspected that the water pressure from the mains supply is too low to drive water to the high tanks- Uisce Eireann and Louth Co Co are responsible for this issue. They plan to work on a solution.
