The U16 B Division Squad, comprising entirely of our international students, showed a great display of skill and integrity in their quarter final matches on Monday in Dublin. Despite two well played matches, the team was knocked out of the competition to another team from Dublin who beat them by just a few points in their final game.
The internationals came together for the first time only in September and embraced the new challenges of new team mates along with adjusting to life in Ireland on top of learning the English language.
The girls have also actively given up their time to help coach other students, sharing both their skills and knowledge. It’s a real shame that their volleyball matches have now ended, however, hopefully this won’t be the end of their volleyball journey.
Well done and thank you to all of you for your contributions so far.
